Anybody with one working synapse was aware what caused the criminal Floyd’s death. The symptoms of a Fentanyl OD is becoming unable to BREATHE, of which Floyd complained of wether sitting or standing, BEFORE being restrained on the ground!
A case or argument can be made that the police officers were not adequately trained in dealing with drug ODs, as those 9 minutes of restraining Floyd may well have been used in some attempt to SAVE his life.
To be serving what amounts to a life sentence for MURDER, however, is certainly a violation of the 8th Amendment to the constitution which ‘prohibits’ “Cruel and Unusual Punishment!” The/those officers may have been guilty of something; however, NOT guilty of MURDER.
This fiasco was perpetrated on an unsuspecting public.
This was a career criminal drug addict caught in a criminal act – passing counterfeit currency.
