This is one of the many reasons I have no black friends any more. You look at me and you would say white man no doubt. But in fact, I’m white, black, native American, Irish, polish, welsh. 90 percent of my friends growing up were minority. My youth was in st Louis and and new Orleans. Literally as a poor white family we lived with the rest of the poor of every race. My ancestors were slave owners and slaves. But my friends that were black totally changed about 15 years ago. I love your channel. Facts are all that matters. My family were also sharecroppers the white side and the black side and the Indian side and all sides were poor. Peace and love to everybody. I don’t care what color your skin is. Oh yeah, I’m a 60 year old white looking man.

The day after Juneteanth there were still thousands, likely more that 100 thousand slaves in the United States. The last state needed to pass the 13th Amendment freeing the slaves happened Dec 6 1865, the Amendment was proclaimed on Dec18, 1865.
