I’ll take the pain. End the globalization no matter the cost. We will recover.
I’m no expert but it seems to me that the US dollar would appreciate in value rather than lose value if it had been managed by people with a brain who cared/care about American prosperity. My dad bought our family home in 1954 for around $12,000. My daughter bought a used car two months ago that cost a little over $12,000. Many people were gradually priced out of buying a home beginning in the mid 1970s. Today not only are people priced out of buying a home in a decent area but many are also priced out of buying a used car. My first cost $300. Today a $3,000 used car is generally a high-mileage piece of junk.
You also thank Joe Biden and maybe Obama for doing all they can to wreck our economy.
In 1970 I made $1.00 an hour. Thirty years later I Make $20.00 to $30.00 an Hour. Nothing has changed. Bread was $.25 a loaf. It’s all irrelevant. Make more inflation eats it up.
I can remember crying when gas went up to 50 cents a gallon. Now I long for “the good old days.”
It’s happening everywhere, the government gave low mortgage rates so low income can buy homes in the burbs. The only problem is, they can’t afford the 1400.00 or 1500.00 dollar mortgages and are losing their homes. The homes they used to live in are going to the illegals. There is no real winner here. but the government claiming how their helping low income family’s to get the votes. But as usual they don’t come thought as they claim and it cost them nothing, but gets them votes. Corruption at its best.
