At the time of recording the man was not in custody and was reportedly firing on police from a cornfield. Many outlets have reported violent rhetoric and calls for civil war were emerging following the FBI raid on Mar-a-lago. While many Trump supporters are claiming this is a psyop or a false flag as they do not believe someone would actually do this. A gunman who opts to stage an attack this conveniently timed, while apparently making no actual effort to use his gun or even harm anyone when he had clear targets, and who waits until he’s in a corn field where he has no field of view before “firing upon officers”. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but this sounds like it was played way too safe to be a real attack and way too good for democrats to be true.
It doesn’t matter what this person’s motives were. I’m tired of defending myself against the actions of other people, whether it’s 1800’s slave owners or mass shooters that have nothing to do with me. It’s all a smokescreen. No serious person will throw these things at you. If they do, they’re a bad faith actor and you should move along.

The anger and fear building between groups is certainly a concern. The apparent “anything goes” attitudes seem to be in all corners of society, but not by all people in all corners, fester like an infection. Hate, fear, loathing, greed for power, greed for influence, greed for wealth are found easily.
When any society feels justified in their part of these evil desires, the rift between factions can draw them all away from the primary, original glue, that had been binding the society.
The family model shows the options for solutions.
The family has been under divisional stresses for a long time, probably since the beginning. The desires to survive together as a family, must be stronger than those that pull them apart. When mental divisions do begin to create stressors, the family must come together and work out solutions to survive. At times compromise can keep a family together. Other times, the compromise does not fit and division is accelerated. One reason that a compromise does not work is when everyone does not agree to the compromise. Pressure for capitulation is a stressor. It will accelerate divisions. The next step is frequently to hide the stress. It may work just enough that there is a tenuous relationship that is preserved. At that point either firm limits or guidelines are established to keep everyone together. Two likely developments are presented here: 1) Everyone sees a difficult divide coming and they fully discuss what options are possible. Then they work out what they can do to satisfy the needs of the family and remember the love that binds through all difficulties. 2) The apparent divide becoming clear causes fear, anger, hopelessness, blame, accountability, arguments, deflection and then hatred begins to set in.
The family is never the same, regardless of attempts to repair it. Those of the family who are willing to love each other in spite of bad feelings and misunderstandings are able to “muddle through” and enjoy whatever is left.
Applying the best parts of the family model to Americans:
We need to be able to see what the problems really are.
