THE CORRUPT FBI AND DOJ PresidentialInsider.com)- Last Monday, Senator Chuck Grassley revealed that FBI whistleblowers have accused the bureau of inaccurately labeling verified evidence against Hunter Biden as “disinformation.” In a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray, Grassley, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said his office was contacted by both current and former “highly credible whistleblowers” who explained how the FBI tried to discredit the Hunter Biden case by falsely labeling “verified and verifiable derogatory information” about Hunter as “disinformation.” By inaccurately classifying the evidence as “disinformation” the investigation into Hunter Biden’s activities was brought to a halt by FBI officials. In his letter, Grassley writes that if the whistleblowers’ allegations are true, the DOJ and FBI have been “institutionally corrupted to their very core to the point in which the United States Congress and the American people will have no confidence in the equal application of the law.”In May, Grassley had requested the DOJ’s Office of the Inspector General open an investigation into Assistant Special Agent in Charge Timothy Thibault and the other agents who headed up the FBI’s 2020 probe into Hunter Biden. Thibault had come under fire for partisan social media posts, including retweeting anti-Trump groups and slamming Republicans. His Twitter account has since gone private.In last Monday’s letter, Grassley said the whistleblowers had informed him that the DOJ and FBI are required to follow strict guidelines when opening an investigation and Thibault failed to follow these guidelines.The whistleblowers also said Thibault shut down an inquiry into Hunter Biden in October 2020 claiming it was false information, despite many of the details being confirmed as accurate at the time. Grassley also wrote in his letter that Thibault ordered the probe closed “without providing a valid reason as required.” What’s more, Grassley alleged that FBI officials “subsequently attempted to improperly mark the matter in FBI systems so it could not be opened in the future.” On Sunday, Senator Grassley appeared on Fox’s Sunday Night in America with Trey Gowdy to discuss the matter.
