I’m thrilled whenever I see the blackboard out, teacher-preacher Benjamin is fabulous. The system needs to stop lying about everyone needing to go to college AND people need to stop buying into that lie. More alternatives to the college lie need to become available. I know a few college grads who refuse to take ANY AVAILABLE JOB to make ends meet, because they think it’s beneath them. Debt collectors hounding them doesn’t tarnish their opinion of themselves, but some types of work aren’t worth contributing to their own (actual) success. They’re in upper 40’s now, retirement is going to be a rude awakening. Great show Ben, thanks God bless you and your family
John Stossel recently made a video with a pretty good solution to this. Education should be ‘free’. But after gradutation you pay X% percent of your salary for X amount of months. This way colleges would be come completely depended on graduees actually earning money incentivizing colleges to actually produce competent graduees who are employable. If they dont they go broke. Gender studies would dissapear overnight.
