Just build the little Toyota with a 4 cyl 5 speed manual, and offer 4×4 … jesus , how hard is this ?
$20K on paper. Once it hits the dealerships, it’ll be priced close to $35-40K

And, it doesn’t look as oversized as so many pick up trucks now are! Way to go, Toyota!!!
DODGE NEVER SHOULD HAVE DONE AWAY WITH THE DAKOTA!
WHEN THE NEW TOYOTA TRUCK HITS THE USA, IT WILL BE $30+.
I’m presently Driving a 2020, Nissan Frontier 4 door, 6cyl/9spd trans, I’m old, I’ve had Chevy Trucks(rust out quickly), Ford… just don’t like Fords, wanted a Toyota, but to expensive, this Nissan is ok, driven it 48,000 in less than 3 years, hauled trailers back and forth to Fla, several times, turning radius sucks, but beyond that been a great comfortable and nice truck to drive, it did very well smashing into a deer at 63mph, passenger side damage, I’d Like A Toyota next, but for now this 2wd Nissan, has been pretty good, with the 9spd trans, not great mileage with the 6cyl, 20-23, driving up and down the coast, runs better on 89, than 87, but no difference putting 93 in, tried it on a couple trip South from NY, need more space either in the back or cab to take a nap… it’s a long ways from Roch, NY to Fla, plus it’s harder to drive straight through like the old days
