Any parent with a boy (especially an “active” boy) has seen this play out in school. My family took drastic measures. Wife quit job, moved away from suburbs, started homeschooling our sons. The difference in our boys is palpable. They are thriving more than I could have imagined. We’re making far less money, have a smaller house, older cars…but our family happiness, quality time, and lifestyle makes me feel undeservingly blessed. Our boys are out in the woods everyday climbing trees and testing beyond their grade level. Homeschooling is the answer for some families.
