I have come to the conclusion that not everyone who is “Team Trump” are actually on my team. Not because I hate Trump or wouldn’t vote for him, because I would (did). But because they don’t necessarily espouse consistent political views that are congruent with conservatism. They just hate politicians and feel like all politicians are against them, and Trump is “on their team”. Which, while understandable, is a terrible and ignorant way to elect people who make policy.
