In the past few months, San Francisco has shown itself capable of transforming into a clean and presentable city when it needs to. This remarkable change was achieved in preparation for the visit of Chinese Communist leader Xi Jinping. It seems that when faced with an important international figure, the city managed to tackle its long-standing issues of homelessness, drug addiction, and overall urban decay. The question now arises: if San Francisco can accomplish this during a short period, why has it been unable to find lasting solutions for these problems over many years?

San Francisco has been a dystopian wasteland filled with homeless drug addicts for many years. Yet with the communist leader of China coming to town, it has managed to make itself look clean and presentable. This proves that these problems are easy to solve, if only our leaders had the will to solve them.

Matt Walsh discusses it in the YouTube video below:

My dad is a homeless drug addict. Many family members, including me, would gladly help him if he needed financial help going to rehab. He knows that, and chooses to be homeless and to do drugs anyway. I suspect that many (maybe not all, but many) homeless people have similar situations. Government isn’t going to solve this problem.

it’s hilarious how he doesn’t even lie anymore. he’s just like “yep china is more important than you.”
