Inmate Who Stabbed Derek Chauvin 22 Times Faces Attempted Murder Charge, According to Prosecutors.

An inmate who attacked ex-police officer Derek Chauvin, stabbing him 22 times after a court hearing, has now been charged with attempted murder, according to state prosecutors. John Turscak was charged with attempted murder a week after the Nov. 24 attack at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tucson, Arizona.

The attack was carried out by a FBI informant who had 3 years of his sentence left. The FBI was the first to arrive and had information about the incident before it was reported to the family. It’s amazing how this happened just as the accusations against the evidence has become a huge problem in the handling of the case and the fairness of the trial itself.
