“The Marvels” marked the lowest opening weekend in the MCU’s franchise history, for obvious reasons. Instead of addressing any mistakes, the director has gone on record calling MCU fans virulent, violent, racist, sexist, and homophobic. I’m sure this isn’t going to help the franchise.

As a long-time Marvel fan, it’s sad to see where the MCU has ended up after where it was, and it seemed to be headed 10 years ago
As a woman who loved the early phases of Marvel, I’m so sad to see where it is now. The early movies had real character arcs, where characters had struggles to overcome and growth. Just look at Tony Stark for crying out loud! The only thing Carol Danvers “overcomes” is amnesia
