This is a topic that is NOT talked about enough. I am a black woman who is not racist. But I can 100% confirm that when speaking with my family members and family friends that I’ve known that racism is RAMPANT in the black community. Black people who “act white” are ostracized and ridiculed out of it…expeditiously. If you speak properly or focus on your studies or craft, you’re resented for thinking that you’re “better”. Interracial dating is taboo and frowned upon. The black community has horrible names for black women who date out and worse names for the white men who date them. All of this hatred from blacks who have never truly gotten to know a white person. Fortunately I was raised in a truly diverse community by progressive parents. For someone who grew up with many races of people, I can say that black people are the most consistently racist. Without a doubt.
If almost half of the people in any group think that you’ve uniquely committed an original sin because your skin is the wrong color, the reasonable thing to do would be to not live near that group.
