It comes as US President Joe Biden, upon getting a handshake from House Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, stuck his hand out to shake again. “It’s like a goldfish, isn’t it? It forgets it’s swum from one side of the other, ‘I forgot I shook hands, let me try again’,” he said. “You’ve got to worry about the cognitive state of the US president and hence the state of the free world.”
