AND, since they weigh so much more, the tires wear out much faster and they wear out roads faster. Oh, and they cost much more to insure, as even minor accidents can result in a totaled car, since the batteries are actually delicate in addition to being outrageously expensive. GUARD RAILS ON THE HIGHWAY IS ONE PROBLEM. PARKING GARAGES ARE ALL BUILT USING A DESIGN CODES FOR GUARD RAILS AT SO MANY POUNDS AT A CERTAIN HEIGHT ABOVE THE FLOOR. THE WEIGHT OF THE EV EXCEEDS THIS LIMIT. EV’S WILL HAVE TO BE BANNED FROM ALL PARKING GARAGES THAT ALL ELEVATED ABOVE THE GROUND.

in addition to the above comment,,, the weight can also possibly damage the interier of your own garage .. many may not realize– if no hydro plants, no storage of wind power, solar,, and the cost to have ele charging station in your garage may be costly ..and poss space too.. if do not have a garage they may be stolen from your property/ apt complex depending on living location… the use of natural gas is used to make electricity to make those electric cars go.. pulling tork is another thing and to recycle those batteries can be a danger as well .. diesel is the left over from making the gas we now use and is biodegradable and sinks …
