A most pertinent, thought-provoking question is postulated by Rep. Boebert and your video. The American taxpayers deserve an honest answer and accountability.

What in the world does the IRS need with an ADDITIONAL 87,000 “agents?!?!” As someone who’s experienced a problem with the IRS, where an employer accidentally classified nearly $2000 as income, rather than expense reimbursal, and I learned about it several years after it occurred… I was informed by the IRS that I owed nearly $1,000, and when I checked with my tax preparer, I was told that it would be much easier AND CHEAPER to pay it! Because the notice came several years after the incident, I was told that I would have to go to court to fix the problem, and between the accountant and lawyer, it would have cost me more than a thousand dollars to save less than $1000! It’s well known that the IRS really makes out on low and middle income tax payers who can’t afford the lawyers and accountant to really contest their demands. And that’s what happened to me.Show less
