Curtin University’s Professor Joe Siracusa says there is likely more fallout to come from US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan, starting with cut-off communication. “We’re getting the Australia treatment in the United States now, the Chinese don’t want to talk to us, just cutting off all kinds of communications, all kinds of security and crime dialogs, climate change,” he told Sky News Australia. “The consensus in the United States is that the trip was unnecessary, arbitrary, and reckless.” Professor Siracusa said the belief was Ms Pelosi “didn’t accomplish anything” and there was not a clear point to the visit. “She created nightmares for both President Biden and President Xi,” he said. “She accomplished absolutely nothing and she created a lot of difficulties for people.”

Accomplishing Nothing is a US politician’s greatest work.

She looks out for her own personal interests. Her own district is crime infested with homeless.
